In short

Barclays and Wyndham refreshed the Earner card line-up in mid-2026, raising the Plus fee to $95 and the Business fee to $149, and introducing a new Earner Premier card at $395.

The Wyndham Rewards Earner cards were overhauled in June 2026. There are now four, and two of them cost more than they used to.

  • Earner, no annual fee. 5x at Hotels by Wyndham, 3x on Vacation Club, dining, groceries, gas and EV charging. Gold status. Little changed beyond the card art.
  • Earner Plus, now $95, up from $75. 6x at Hotels by Wyndham, 4x on Vacation Club, travel, dining and groceries. Diamond status in year one, then Platinum. 15,000 anniversary points and a free night worth up to 15,000 points after five or more nights in a year.
  • Earner Premier, new, $395. 8x at Hotels by Wyndham, 4x on Vacation Club, travel, dining and groceries. A $100 annual Wyndham credit, up to $120 in meal delivery credits, up to $100 in streaming credits, a $65 wholesale club credit, TSA PreCheck or Global Entry, Diamond status, 25% off award redemptions, a free night worth up to 30,000 points, and 30,000 anniversary points.
  • Earner Business, now $149, up from $95. 8x at Hotels by Wyndham, 5x on a wide business category list. 20% off awards and 15,000 anniversary points.

The one to watch on the business card

Gas dropped from 8x to 5x. If that rate was why you held the card, the refresh took it away.

Existing cardholders

Wyndham said existing holders are not being moved automatically and that it would share migration details later in the year. For now, legacy cards stay as they are.

The award discounts are the quietly valuable part of this family. At 25% off, the Premier saves 50,000 points on 200,000 points of redemptions, which compounds in a way the headline bonuses do not. There is also a 30% Chase to Wyndham transfer bonus running to 3 December 2026.
