Card offers
Chase is showing the elevated Southwest bonuses publicly, which settles a question the trackers couldn't
Reports disagreed on whether the 80,000, 85,000 and 90,000-point Southwest offers were targeted. Chase's own card page shows all three.

In short
All three personal Southwest cards are showing elevated limited-time bonuses on Chase's public card page, which resolves a conflict in earlier reporting about whether the offers were targeted at Southwest email subscribers.
Reported Companion Pass application cut-off: 2 December 2026
One of the more frustrating things about tracking welcome offers is that half the time nobody can agree on whether an offer is public or quietly targeted at a subset of people. The elevated Southwest bonuses have been a good example. Several reports described them as a public promotion. At least one described the Plus card's 80,000-point offer as targeted at Rapid Rewards members opted in to Southwest emails.
Chase's own Southwest card page settles it, at least for today. All three personal cards show elevated offers, labeled limited-time, with no end date published:
- Rapid Rewards Plus, $99 a year: 80,000 points after $1,000 of spending in three months
- Rapid Rewards Premier, $149 a year: 85,000 points after $2,000 in three months
- Rapid Rewards Priority, $229 a year: 90,000 points after $3,000 in three months
Two business cards are also listed: Performance Business at $299 with 80,000 points after $5,000, and Premier Business at $149 with 60,000 after $3,000.
Why the timing matters more than the numbers
These bonuses count toward Companion Pass. Reports put the application cut-off for the 2026 pass at 2 December 2026, which means you can apply now and still finish the spending in early 2027. A Companion Pass is worth far more than any of these bonuses if you regularly fly Southwest with the same person, so the deadline is the part to pay attention to.
The usual restrictions still apply. Chase's 5/24 rule covers these cards, and Southwest bonuses are generally off the table if you already hold a Southwest personal card or earned a Southwest bonus in the previous 24 months. That 24-month rule, not the spending requirement, is what stops most people.
One caveat worth keeping: a public offer today can go back to being targeted tomorrow. Check what your own application page shows before you count on a figure.
