Loyalty program
Alaska and Hawaiian's loyalty programs are now Atmos Rewards, and the cards were renamed with them
Miles became points at 1:1, account numbers carried over, and the Alaska Visa Signature is now the Atmos Ascent.

In short
Atmos Rewards combines Alaska's Mileage Plan and Hawaiian's HawaiianMiles. The Alaska Airlines Visa Signature was renamed the Atmos Rewards Ascent, and a new premium Summit card was added.
If you have been looking for the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature and cannot find it, that is because it is now called the Atmos Rewards Ascent Visa Signature.
Atmos Rewards is the combined loyalty program for Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines, merging Mileage Plan with HawaiianMiles. Mileage Plan members became Atmos members and kept their account numbers. Miles became points at one to one, with no change in value, and points do not expire. HawaiianMiles accounts transitioned automatically, with members who had not previously linked to a Mileage Plan account receiving new numbers.
The cards
- Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite, $395. New premium card from Bank of America. A Global Companion Award, 1 status point per $2 spent, and Alaska Lounge passes.
- Atmos Rewards Ascent Visa Signature, $95. Formerly the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature.
- Atmos Rewards Visa Business, formerly the Alaska Airlines Visa Business.
- Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard from Barclays, name and benefits unchanged by the merger.
Eligible Atmos Rewards Visa cardholders get a free checked bag, a $99 Companion Fare and 3x points on eligible Alaska and Hawaiian purchases.
One thing that does not quite line up
Alaska's own materials describe the Hawaiian card as continuing unchanged. Separately, Barclays removed the Hawaiian cards from new applications on 1 October 2025. Both can be true: existing cardholders keep their cards, but you cannot apply for one. If you were planning to, the Ascent is the card to look at instead.
