Assumptions and limitations
- Only enter value you would have spent money on anyway. A credit that changes what you buy is worth less than its face value, often much less.
- Credits that reset monthly or quarterly are the easiest to lose. Discount them unless you have a routine for using them.
- Free night certificates are worth what you would have paid for a room you would actually have booked, not the certificate's points ceiling.
- Rewards earned from spending are not included. This compares benefits against the fee only, which is the harder half of the question.
- Card fees in the dropdown come from our verified data. Cards whose fee we could not confirm are excluded from the list.
